Viet Nam Logistics Forum is an annual event since 2013. The forum has been chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister, H.E Vuong Dinh Hue (also the Chairman of the 1899 Committee), with the participation of leaders from many ministries, localities and enterprises.

Currently, the implementation of new Free Trade Agreements such as CPTPP and EVFTA requires enterprises to make great efforts to enhance their competitiveness. Meanwhile, logistics cost is still a problem beside the COVID-19 pandemic, which heavily affects businesses. Reducing logistics costs is a topic that the Government, ministries, localities and enterprises are focusing in to help improve the competitiveness of businesses in the context of deep international economic integration. At the same time, recover the declined growth momentum from the impacts of COVID-19.

Therefore, "Reducing logistics costs, improving business environment, enhancing competitiveness in the context of international economic integration" was chosen as the main theme of the 8th edition of the Viet Nam Logistics Forum.
